  • In this role, you will:
  • Contribute to achieve Retail Banking and Wealth Management’s deposit sales target in line with strategic plan
  • Guide the Mobile Sales Officers in generating new customer leads from existing base of customers and develop strong customer relations
  • Improve customer portfolio indicators in conjunction with Relationship Managers
  • Lead a customer driven sales team, work with the top management to create plans that support the Retail Banking and Wealth Management’s business as a whole
  • Ensure high quality of service and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and/or control sales standard and safeguard the bank from potential loss
  • Maintain HSBC’s internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issue raised by external regulators and develop awareness among staff about operational risks and minimize the likelihood of its occurrence, implement and observe compliance policy
  • Apply judgment and decision-making capabilities when needed to uphold the bank’s reputation, integrity in business and contribute to the improvement of staff competency in meeting objectives

  • To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Proven ability in team leadership and management
  • In depth knowledge of the RBWM business and sales operations.
  • Relevant experience for two to five years in sales in the retail sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating
  • Effective sales leadership skills including coaching and sales activity management on a team / one to one basis
  • Planning, organizing, analytical and problem solving skills
